China could notify the people who might expose to the virus to self quarantine or do a test on them, so less people will get effected, can any other country does the same? This is saving lives, if I could choose between my privacy and health, I choose health all day long. Do remember, if you want to get a test for corona virus in the USA, it costs 3500. Talking about human rights, the basic human rights is to live, I think Americans are far behind China this time

There are actually two countries, China and South Korea, two advanced countries in digital technology. If things go out of control, I believe Britain will not hesitate to develop or introduce the same technology. This has nothing to do with so-called privacy monitoring. Back in China government track you by mobile phone. Here in UK, phone lost, reported to police and nothing happen because they ain’t get a clue what to do.

Obviously I dont agree with invasion of privacy but if anyone saw how the people were spitting on each other and on lift buttons etc. I think handing over some human rights while hoping to combat coronavirus is worth while if you have nothing to hide. I mean your phone continuously pings your location from cell towers anyway.
But once it's over, they can stand up once again and ask for their privacy back!

yes, this is truth, 1 month ago, my uncle just drove to another city in the morning, .In the afternoon when he got back, he received the call from gov officer .ok my uncle got quarantined immediately and was not allowed to go outside within 2 weeks.
