Improve Performance and Sound.Switch out the factory, sealed airbox and the cheap paper-element filter on your 3.5L EcoBoost 2009-2014 F-150 for the Airaid SynthaFlow Oiled Filter QuickFit Air Dam to maximise airflow for improved sound under the hood and an increase in power and throttle response. This is a bolt-on open-air system that features a high-flow washable and reusable oiled AiraidSynthaFlow® filter. This Air Dam will slide into the lower portion of your factory airbox, incorporating the factory cold air ducting from the front of the truck and will increase air filtration and flow. When compared to the sealed factory airbox, this open-air design will increase both engine and turbo noise.
SynthaFlow® Technology. This QuickFit Air Dam features an Airaid Premium Filter with SynthaFlow® technology. SynthaFlow®ais an oiled cotton gauze microfiber material, that will capture particulates down to two microns in size. Fully reusable, you will need to re-oil the filter every time it’s cleaned. This Airaid Intake is 50-state smog legal and will not require a re-tune once installed.
Straightforward Installation. This is a simple installation that can be completed with basic hand tools and within 30 minutes to an hour in the driveway. Simply pop off the top portion of your factory airbox and incorporate the new Air Dam into your factory intake system.
