‘Hope’ among economists US central bank could break rate hike cycle this week

There is a “hope” among economists that the United States could see the first break in 15 months from the rate hike cycle this week, says CommSec’s Tom Piotrowski.

“In the intervening period, we’re going to have some really important inflation numbers – the CPI and PPI figures in the next couple of nights,” he told Sky News Australia.
