I love Gaga as Harley. I love Joaquin as Joker.
I don’t understand why this film is a necessity. The first was such an isolated character-driven film. He’s such a different character by the end that I don’t think a follow-up will “fit” with what came before. He’s not a tragic character anymore, he’s just a psychopath.

I feel like it doesn’t matter who the actress is, giving the Joaquin Phoenix Joker a Harley Quinn in the first place is a weird idea I can’t see working. It’s too comic book-y when the first movie was anything but.
