"A Better Place" is the second video from Glen Campbell's critically acclaimed album "Ghost On The Canvas." The video features a special guest appearance from Josh Homme (Queens Of The Stone Age, Kyuss, Them Crooked Vultures), and is directed by Kii Arens and Jason Trucco.

The legendary singer, guitarist, and television star, Glen Campbell was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease last year. Following more than 20 Top 40 hits and selling 50 million records worldwide, Campbell this year received a Lifetime Achievement GRAMMY Award (his 8th GRAMMY to date). He is currently midway through his "The Goodbye Tour" to say a fond thank you to his legions of loyal fans. Campbell's final studio album "Ghost On The Canvas" is out now on Surfdog Records. The album represents a poignant look back at his life and career with contributions by the artists he continues to inspire.

This farewell video features Campbell looking back at his life and career. He also sends a personal message to his wife, Kimberley, a former Radio City Music Hall dancer that the Rhinestone Cowboy met on a blind date in 1981. "My love goes out to Kim, my amazing grace. You've been by my side through these changing times, and it means the world to me."

The only thing wrong with this beautiful song is that it is much too short. I could have gone on listening for several more minutes. It is so comforting.

Glen Campbell has a unique voice with a hint of a cry in it, boyishly good looking face and a big country smile. As with all greats, there will never be another like him.

R.I.P., to a true superstar musician....this is as if he was saying "farewell" to his loved ones and fans with this song. I couldn't hold back my tears just hearing this and seeing the photos of him as I remembered him in my own youth. Such a wonderfully full life and I am certain that Glen in his lucid moments looked back and thanked the good Lord for everything. We all thank you too, Glen. May you always be Gentle on our minds and in our hearts. Peace my friend.

Dear Glen, hope you able to read/hear this. Not sure the year but my Dad was in NY on business from the UK, possibly the 60's and first saw you in Macys, singing and promoting your LP "Gentle on my Mind". Well dad bought the LP and you signed it to me, Laurian. I treasure it and still have it along with one you did with Bobby Gentry. Glen we have all done bad things and have regrets, thats life. One thing I hope and pray for is that we meet on that golden shore with the Lord and you can play again to us saints and Him who reigns - can't wait. To be Born Again and saved for all eternity we must believe in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of all our sins. THAT is the gospel we preach. Love you Glen and your music, see you one day. Maranatha!

What an amazing emotional song, Alzheimer's is a cruel disease and it's incredible that this beautiful man has put his experience into such a gem of a song.  I pray for him and all who have this disease as peaceful and calm a journey as the Gods grant

I grew up listening to and watching Glen Campbell as a boy on a ranch in Idaho. I always loved, "Try alittle kindness". My family has dealt with it's share of Alzhiemers, so my heart is out to the Campbell Family. Like Steve Adams, I spent a few years in radio and had the pleasure of playing Glen Campbells music. I now fly airplanes for a living and I can still apply this wonderful music to my life.
Thank you, Glen Campbell for all the inspiration, my heart is with you...

My father passed from Alzheimer's, and we included A Better Place in the songs played at his visitation. I grew up listening to Glen Campbell, watching his tv show and just enjoying his music. My parents loved him, and I did, too.

My grandfather 93 has alt. forgets us however he knows salvation his favorite hymns and sings them... talks about Jesus. He doesn't know the great and wonderful things his has done in his life. From top torrent gunner in World War 2 to owning his own company built airports bridges building that people still use today. That is the greatest generation I wish I could have been a fraction of what that man was and still is.
