I didn’t want a more mature sound after one of the best selling, hit making soundtracks of all time lol. Lotta bands got lost in the 80s sound.

Thank you for sharing this video! From 1:35 are the best Bee Gees moments that I have ever seen. A beautiful song is born, Robin is expressing his emotions toward his brother, Barry happily accepts it, and darling Mo gets emotional. Priceless moments!

Their songs for this film were quite solid and 2-3 were Top 10 caliber tracks, but they were poorly used in the film which didn't create the powerful marriage of music and imagery that helped to propel their music in SNF.

Personally I have always loved this sequel to the classic. I thought it was a rational progression for the character and the music. I thought it wise they didn't try to simply duplicate what came before. The story and sound had to evolve and I will always feel like it hit all the right beats on those needs. Even if people are not in favor of the direction, I'll never understand why anyone thought the movie was horrible. It had a great cast and the dance choreography was excellent. Its unclear to me what there actually is to hate here.
