I dig both. They don’t sound as different as one might expect.

Many millennials are in their 40s now. I'm not sure it's a term we should be using to describe fancy and new any more 😆

A “boomer guitar” is definitely a Les Paul

Close your eyes... you'll hear a very slight variant of tonal quality, but both sound great.

Music evolved since the 60's and so do the tools to make music. These who keep playing the blues like in the 60's might not need or want a strandberg, because it wouldn't be practical for what they do :) to each their own, but I'm against valuing an item more than it's purpose.

That riff sounds like a nice way to wake up on a Saturday morning. : )

With all the great info and humour on the channel, I sometimes forget how deft AND tasty your playing is! Your just tossing off stuff as an example that many guitar players I know only hope to be able to crank out

I definitely dig them both. Nobody but guitarist would care what’s being played. I’m a guitarist who doesn’t care what’s being played. My question is always the same, “Does it sound good?”

Both are cool. Id take the strat personally. But they both sound great in the hands of a ninja

Type of pickups, & speaker in the amplifier (if you still use an amp, & you should) makes more difference than anything else.

You really notice how flat the Strandberg fretboard is!

Obviously i could never leave the fender corner. But that strandberg sounded amazing!

Definitely the Strandberg for me: such a versatile guitar. Would get the Kiesel version if I ever lost my current axe. Regular frets, though.

When you put the same recorder, plug-ins, effects; things are bound to sound almost the same. Sounding good is all that matters, although I prefer the ergonomics of the newest guitars

I like this groove too. Can u make some "ringtones" or "elevator samples" for us to download?

They both sound decently similar. However, the strand berg will handle metal and high gain better and is much more comfortable to play imo.

Always wondered how bends work with those, i guess some positions would require more of a bend than others to get the same ammount of pitch shift

I used to own a Steinberger Synapse Transcale Custom ST-2FPA - TL, as a shitty guitar player i wasn't able to use its potential and i was a student so i sold it but I miss it.

the strat is definitely a sweet guitar, but ive owned a few ( not a 63) but i really want a strandberg. im over 50 . i really want a guitar i never have to fight against at this point.

I didn't expect the difference to be so much. I kind of want a true temperament guitar now!
