Sigma is by far the “scariest”character. His backstory is by far the creepiest and most lost interesting in my opinion.

I'm pretty sure the "melody" he hears isn't from Talon. His insanity is what makes him willing to join Talon, yet the melody is something different entirely. I believe it's supposed to be some sort of effect of his exposure to the black hole, and if he could ever figure out what it means, some of the secrets of the universe may be revealed to him.

The way he says “ WHAT IS THAT MELODY!” Is bone chilling. This hero is one of the scariest hero’s ever.

If it’s true that he helped create Zarya’s weapon, it’s possible that Sombra could’ve discovered his existence at the same time she discovered Volskia’s secret (leading to talon “rescuing” him).

I thought he was fractured through timelines, experiencing 2 timelines of him being a prisoner and him being sane at the same time

Will it make more sense to think he messed with the space-time continuum. Where three Sigmos are rearranged the evil one that we see, the scientist who succeeds, and the one he goes insane.

The world could always use more Talon villains

I think his mind is split inhalf, the known and unknown, causing a sound that his mind perceives as a melody, but is actually his spot mind

His theme song could be the melody, he probably has a memory assigned with it. And since his mind is ”split in half”, he doesn’t fully remember the song, he just knows it’s familiar

He can still be a good guy, hes not really willingly being with Talon because he is being manipulated.

Well he sometimes refers to other science related characters, seemingly aware of their research, but talks to them as if they have never met before. He sometimes even recognises their talent, in case of Moira he even tells her he knows what it's like to make sacrifices for their research and tries to engage in a discussion about their research and only actually seems to have known Mei from before she was frozen in cryostasis (maybe). But he expresses his pleasure to be with a like-minded individual.
When he kills Zarya there was supposed to be a chance he'll express his sorrow that the design of her equipment will forever remain flawed now as noone will continue the legacy of it's creator. Hope I could tell you something new :)
He also knew doctor Winston as they must have met on the Lunar colony (he sometimes refers to a previous stay when playing on that map).
The design of Tracers chronoaccelarator also seems to fascinate him.
