Used to see Jay play singer/songwriter at a coffeeshop in Fullerton every Tuesday night. Glad he got recruited to rock and roll finally. His vocals lack nothing. He has power, guts, control, and a little grit. The guitar is the weakest link here. Most of the licks and riffs are forgettable and bland. It's really the rhythm section giving these guys their retro-Zep vibes. Unlikely to get another guitarist as it looks like this one thinks a lot of himself probably. He's no Keith Richards. His phrasing is one long yawn. Sorry Scott. Damn Josie.
