GoldenEar SuperSub XXL - Review

Those familiar with GoldenEar Technology and its co-founder, Sandy Gross, know the company has been making waves in the high-end audio world by delivering extremely high-performance products that defy the price points typically associated with high-end gear -- the Triton series speakers are among our all-time favorites. It's also known that the company already makes a subwoofer lineup called ForceField, which fulfills the company's value proposition in the bass department. The SuperSub series, however, is a little bit different -- actually, it's a lot different, because nobody has ever produced a subwoofer quite like it.

i like that they are using metal grilles. i have a very strong preference for metal grilles from durability perspective.

Awesome review I have Dolby Atmos setup using Goldenear speakers with 7 super sat 60's 4 ceiling HTR 7000's and Forcefield sub I might have to upgrade the this XXL sub Thanks you guys are awesome

Great Video, Gonna purchase this sub next week. It will be paired with a Yamaha RXV-3800 Receiver, along with Deftech pro monitor 800's.... What crossover setting do you recommend for the 800's, along with crossover for the sub ? Thank you

I'd like to see you put it head-to-head with a SVS 16 ultra. Same price. Both extremely capable. Maybe the "best" in the industry. At least the SVS subs usually are.

How about using 1-2 XXL''s in a HT setup and making a video? :)

Looks like there’s a lot of slop in those radiators. If you’re looking for super tight, powerful bass don’t forget to listen to JL Audio offerings as well. Bass is what these people do, Mobile and Home...
