At this point the idea might have been there, but not finalized because the deal with Sony & Marvel was about to End with FFH, thats why there was a lil break up there. Plus another idea i heard when the break up happened was that Kraven the Hunter would've hunted Peter because since the world knew who he was & that he's said to be dangerous for killing mysterio, it's a worthy hunt. Ok that kinda sounds badass as a movie but when the new deal was struck with Sony & Marvel then they definitely wanted to do a better story.
