Antique late Victorian rose gold chain, 15 3/4 inches long, circa 1900

This is a classic rose gold chain from about 1900. The thick, solid belcher links are faceted – a pleasing detail you don't see in more contemporary chains.

This is substantial enough to hold a heavy locket or pendant, unlike some antique chains.

It has a lovely antique bolt ring clasp, too. This is large enough to wear at the front, possibly with one or more hanging pieces, for a different look.

This chain will look wonderful either on its own or layered with other necklaces.

Although I’ve described this chain as substantial, that is relative to it being an antique, which are usually lighter than their modern equivalents.
