Something to add here that I encountered: If you are making a macos app instead of (or as well as) iOS app then you should have the ‘Application fonts resource directory’ which according to apple, is the path relative to the bundle’s resources directory. The default is the root of recourses so the value for that would be dot unless you change fonts location with a copy files phase.

Would there be a way to apply the font at the root of the project that would give all text a default font? Possibly just giving content view that font modifier?
