SCP-500 - Panacea (SCP Animation)

SCP-500 is a Safe Class anomaly also known as Panacea.

SCP 500 is a small plastic can which at the time of writing contains forty-seven pills. One pill, when taken orally, effectively cures the subject of all diseases within two hours, exact time depending on the severity and amount of the subject's conditions. Despite extensive trials, all attempts at synthesizing more of what is thought to be the active ingredient of the SCP500 pills have been unsuccessful.

Rather than trying to improve the pill by putting it into the machine at the fine or very fine setting, why not try to regress it with either the rough or course settings. The idea would be that it might reduce it into less complex components which could easily be gathered and then run back through the machine to create more pills.

I feel like even tho the "duplicated" pills is only 30% as effective as the real pills, that's 30% effectiveness on a pill that can cure cancer, fix broken bone, and even cure incurable anomalous diseases. As far as I'm concern that's a big win, not as big as if it were 100% effectiveness but still big.

I can see how the pills can backfire. Remember that ape that was upgraded to be an apelike person, a brilliant one at that, when adjusted to "fine"? Imagine him taking a pill and just reverting back to the original ape... but in pristine health.
