Mars mystery solved? NASA to reveal major discovery

NASA plans to unveil a scientific breakthrough that solves what it calls "the Mars mystery." The announcement comes four days after the space agency issued a surprise tweet saying, "Mars mystery solved." But, so far, scientists have given no hints about what that means. Elaine Quijano reports.

NASA has to corroborate scientific evidence before disclosure to the public, so truth hurts-proof that the more people learn the less they know & vice-versa.

If you step back and see the most incredible thing NASA has achieved it's inconceivable to me that this approach to Space study is so elementary that earth's scientists are postponing mankind's progress of inter/ outer galactic exchange and beyond. . The pursuit of technology is promising to reveal to humanity remnants of past civilizations on other planets. This is the hope ? Going to Mars is focusing an effort on a dismal and to this date barren wasteland . If there was ever a civilization there, and I do assume there was at some time, it's apparent that it has moved on or it is extinguished due to it's limited geography (rocks, sand ) . But how about this ? . There is a beacon within our Milky Way Galaxy. It shines like no other for Light Years of distance. It's our own earth. We have history and even current data suggesting visitation and interaction between aliens and earthlings .And why not ? Our planet begs for exploration as it shines out beautifully in the abyss Just think if we were alien explorers and saw earth and nearby Mars . Which one would you choose to explore. So briefly, save the trillions on technology and focus on communication . We may forgo the ambitions of traveling 6 months to the red dead planet Mars by substituting it with a 30 minute jaunt to Alpha Centauri and beyond as guest of our new found friends who have been here all along or just passing through?. I have heard somewhere that SETI set up monitoring all areas of space in hopes of receiving some message of sorts from civilizations beyond . And at one point they received an unexplainable "beep" . I would say that beep is more of a leap for mankind than anything NASA has done. How many times has man expended his energy only to see after total commitment he had been on the wrong path the entire time . Replace technology with Communication and let ET open doors for us..

Free flowing water on the surface? Not true! The air pressure alone means a gallon of water evaporates in less than a minute! If I remember my space science classes.

Devon Island Canada. How else can you get a picture of the unmanned rover in front of the lenses. And of course there is free flowing water there!. Discovery of a duped society and not really a game changer
