Hi eveyone,

Namibia is facing one of the toughest droughts in years, and the effects are devastating. In this video, I show you how the drought has impacted our land, livestock, and daily life here on the farm. This is the heartbreaking reality many Namibians are dealing with.

Thank you for watching 🙏🏻

*None of the animals featured on this channel are pets, they all live a natural life outside (no cages or captivity) where they feed on natural food around our farmstead - just like it should be 👍🏻

Maybe it's about the damaging big floods they had in Windhoek a day ago?..A couple of comments made thus far are harsh to say the least. We in africa care for our wild animals and are probably leaders in conservation of all species. Ruben is not looking for monetary gratification for himself, but to help those that need the assistance the most. Its called humanity !..to both humans and animals

Ruben. Fix that dripping tap mate. Here in Australia we completely empathise with your difficulties during endless droughts. It is heartbreaking to see the impact on your livestock and wildlife. One thing I’ve learnt is that it eventually rains and here anyway big droughts that have lasted years often break in a huge deluge and we go from one extreme to the other. Bless you mate. You’re a champion. Your cattle station is magnificent.

Thankyou Ruben and family for looking after the wildlife around your farm in Namibia. A little contribution to help with fuel costs and feeding the animals!❤

Raised in Arizona and know very well the feeling you get when the storms come in. Water is life.❤️

As a rancher in north eastern Nevada USA. I can appreciate your struggles. We also leave all water troughs open to share water with wildlife. My thoughts and prayers with you.

It’s wonderful to see the altruistic efforts to help the wildlife. It’s surprising how much time and money Ruben’s family devotes to this task. They are truly dedicated to all animals.

Something small to help you guys. I grew up in SA but I live in a rainy part of France now, and it's true that we take water for granted up here. This morning all my colleagues were complaining about the rain.
