December 17, 1996. The Los Angeles Lakers visited The Chicago Bulls in Chicago Illinois.
It was Kobe Bryant's 1st lesson on guarding Michael Jordan, The G.O.A.T took it easy on Kobe, the game itself was incredible...
This night had everything, a hyped crawd, dunks, blocks, OT, clutch shots, heated moments etc
Players that stepped up. Toni Kukoc, Randy Brown, Dereck Fisher & "The Worm" Dennis Rodman

Some of the greatest basketball players to ever play and the Bulls still beat everyone. An amazing era to have witnessed. Love these old highlights

The Bulls took the Lakers best shot ( and luck ) and still found a way to win.

Kukoc was so good. Very underrated.

I watched this game live and recorded on VHS, so many times I re-watch and still an amazing game. (Mj, Pippen, Rodman, Kukoc vs Kobe, Shaq, Jones, Van Exel)

Man..this was basketaball..I miss those games. Today's game is nothing compare to the 90's. They played deffence and something went wrong nowdays..They just shot, nobody guards no one. I watch this sport for 25 years and I want games like this, again.

And that's how competitive the bulls are on that era, that they will take down dennis rodman just so that he won't be called for a technical, what an era.... 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Pippin knocking Kukoc's hand away when he reached out to help Shaq up was gold!

I remember this day...sad to say I was in cook county jail and Kukoc brought the Bulls back we were so loud and cheering for the Bulls that the guards turned the tv off hating...

1985 to 2005 were twenty years of the greatest professional basketball ever played. Players in the 70's like Dr. J and Moses Malone planted the seeds for the talent that would sprout in the 80's in the form of players like MJ, Bird, and Magic. From there, the 90's would produce all-stars like Kobe, Shaq, J-Kidd, AI, KG, and Tim Duncan. The early 2000's saw the arrival of D-Wade, Lebron, and CP3, but the quality of the league started to slide not long after. Presently, I don't watch the NBA like I used to; it's just not as exciting as it once was.

They say the old school teams couldn’t keep pace with todays game. This game right here is a prime example that in fact yes they could. The only exception is that there was more physicality in yesteryear’s game but they got up and down and shot a lot of 3’s.

The defensive pressure on a guard loaded Lakers team making prayers all night - shows you how good the Bulls really were.

Dennis was great but was a wild card, the Bulls were the only team that had the leadership that could keep him in check.
He was simply too wild for the mild mannered Spurs. This Bulls team were like Rock stars everywhere they went.
But what about that Randy Brown dunk on Kersey & Elden Campbell at 8:38.

At that era, every game was like real war.
