Good information and tips. Problem is prices. I've received estimates from several of the companines mentioned and their pricing is through the roof. anywhere from $7, 000 - $12, 000 for an "entry level" 20' x 10' product. Granted they offer sunbrella fabrics and other higher end componenets but....and I hate to say this....I can replace the cheap Chinese awning 3-4 times before I've spent the same money for a Canadian or US built product. If I only get 2 years of use out of each Chinese product, it will last me as long as the US model warranties last.
