2022 Trek Powerfly 4 Hardtail

My stoke just went up 1000%! Thanks to the golden bros @ Summit Bicyles in Los Gatos, they hooked me up with a 2022 Powerfly 4 Hardtail over the phone. Hardtails from the local Trek dealership might not arrive EVER! But, I did have the local dudes throw on a Rockshox Judy Gold 35 to support my over-generous waistline for technical riding. This whip rides like a Ferrari compared to my RadRover 5 fat tire ebike I have been saddling the last two years (7000+ miles). Luved my Rad bike but I have so missed the single track in my backyard and I am just too out of shape to walk 83% of the trails. This Bosch motor is super efficient and the power is quick went needed. I am not looking to go fassssst, which this bike can but I just want to be able to pedal with a consistent 10-16mph range without getting my ass whipped. Thanks to the bro at the local REI Summerlin with some great suggestions for add-ons. The donut bell kills! Not literally, it probably saves lives but of the several hiking groups I encountered on the trail many complimented me on the nice bell ring. The phone mount is awesome but obviously did not use on this single track ride.

I have the same bike. I like to know what is that small fender on the front called? I can see that will keep the bike much cleaner. Can you give me some info on that? Thanks for your time. Great video.

So...how’s it holding up? Just bought one ...But, I’m having the shop put 2.6 tires with 40mm rims - being a big guy, the larger tires makes me feel a lil more confident ..
