To everyone who made contact about this region, please accept my apologies. I never received any notification from You Tube that comments had been added. So sorry. I guess 2020 was pretty much a wash out anyway and travelling in 2021 is going to be very restricted. I cannot give you any mapping info as I didn't do the navigating. I can tell you the route that we took of course but not the individual tracks. I recognise most of what is in these excellent videos other than we did it the other way round. It's a heck of an adventure and you do need to be prepared for sure. If you get into trouble, there simply isn't going to be anyone coming along to give you some help. You're on your own.

We did this trip in September the same year. I recognise many of the places in the film. We did it without a guide but did lots of research first. You need maps which are very hard to find. We had some 1937 military maps. It is pretty extreme so be prepared or you'll be walking home. GEKO runs trips there every year in September, if you have the money.
