Can elections be done without campaigns? We can use digitisation for voting and avoid the huge recurring expenses of personal visits etc. The vision /manifesto of the party can be publicised in the media. The slugfest of leaders can be avoided. The development can be felt by the public and need not be repeated in narratives differently by the parties due to which an average voter gets confused.
