The Wright State University and Premier Health Neuroscience Institute presented its first annual Neuroscience Institute symposium, Selected Topics in Translational Neuroscience, at Wright State University on Nov. 14. Presentations addressed the genetic epilepsies and GABAA receptor mutations, clinical perspectives in epilepsy surgery, interventional management of stroke and ion channel dysfunction during critical illness.

Robert L. Macdonald, M.D., Ph.D., professor and chair of neurology, molecular physiology and biophysics, and pharmacology at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine made this presentation.
