I once worked at a paint shop that painted warhead bomb shells. They were huuuge. About 12 feet long. They had to be dipped in huge prep tanks before being spray painted. Needless to say, it was so creepy walking past these huge warheads in the warehouse. They were delivered on covered trucks for security. It was interesting. Kinda scary knowing what they're used for.

The US has lost and never recovered 6 nuclear weapons, and worldwide there have been about 32 broken arrow incidents since the 50's

At the end of the day, these things are still just protected by people. That alone will always be cause for concern

Just imagine how much money we wasted creating, storing, maintaining, and staffing the facilities for these nukes.

You didn't show Montana as a nuclear missile hotspot even though last time I drove through upper west Montana I saw dozens of nuclear silos just sitting out in the open.

3:20 those cores won't go off unless the bomb is triggered precisely. They could however be cracked open and radiate the surrounding area.
