Laundry Room Must Haves | Interior Design Tips

Let's talk about laundry room must haves!
Growing up, our laundry room was in the basement of our house and it was unfinished space with a washer and a dryer and a large plastic utility sink. My mom had some clothes lines hung from the wood joists above and all the detergents sat underneath the sink. And that's it. It really wasn't a very pleasant space.
But today's laundry room is looking for an upgrade. In fact, a well designed, purpose built room for laundering is now a major focus on most of my client's dream home wish lists. And there's nothing more purposeful than providing a space that is functional and beautiful at the same time.
So here are my top 7 must-haves for today's functional, and beautiful, laundry room.

I find the information useful and is presented in a very down-to-earth manner...no screeching high-pitched voice, no hands waving all over the place, etc...just a nice, soothing, well-modulated voice and practically-applicable information. I have two sinks in my laundry area. Love it. Highly recommend that But I don't have a drier. I'm lucky to be able to hang my clothes on an outside line. Also, I have a front-load washing machine which I got a box made so my machine is higher off the ground. Easier to load and unload

My #1 dilemma is space! My laundry room is so tiny, all that fits is the washer and dryer. I do have overhead wall space I could utilize in some way but not everything on this list.
