Just weighing in. EVO is the _de facto_ climax of the entire CPT—the biggest offline SF6 event that actually gives the whole world a shot at GF, rather than being primarily dictated by where people happen to live. That's why there are over 40 attendees from Japan. We won't see that at _any_ other tournament, especially not Capcom Cup itself. But $12k is... kind of off brand.
