Techno CLIL EVO16 Wrap UP

CLIL – Content and Language Integrated Learning -- has a huge impact on teaching/learning, with great advantages both for the foreign language and for subjects which are taught in that language.

According to the latest Eurydice report "Keydata on teaching languages in Europe" (2012), CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) provision is spreading more and more all over Europe.

In the Italian secondary school curriculum, there has been a great innovation in the frame of a reform issued by the Ministry of Education, University and Research: starting from 2012, CLIL (the teaching of a curriculum subject in a foreign language) was introduced in the third year of “Licei Linguistici”, while in all the other upper secondary schools, this new methodology was introduced in the fifth year, beginning from 2014-15.

The teaching of a subject through a foreign language has become an integrated part of the secondary school curriculum.

Congratulations to Daniela and Letizia for creating an amazing TECHNO-CLIL EVO 16 session - I was not able to continue in your session due to moderating TEFL2YL EVO 16 which in itself was amazing - however I kept up with the FB posts in the CLIL page and the enthusiasm, commitment and effort by all participants was a constant activity.
