The six gear drive just saved me so much money by not having to invest in an expensive in ground system. I have two in my backyard on oposite corners of the property, with a hose running along the edge and they get full coverage of my backyard and over lap just a bit. In the front yard I only have one that’s set to 90 degrees turning coverage since my front yard has driveways on both the left (2 cars wide) and the right ( for my turick and trailer, single). I was tired of oscillating sprinklers because they take so long to get a good amount of water into the soil and there were spots that would not get any water at all. So since I started to invest into my lawn everyone said I needed a real watering system and so I got some estimates and they were all over $2000 and I was almost about to put a down payment on it when I came across the orbit six gear sprinkler. Long story short I bought one and was shocked at how even it watered the lawn and long the steam went. So I went back to the store and got two more and a year later I have an amazing green lawn that’s perfectly watered every other day by orbit.

Just bought two of these. One for the front and one for the backyard. It has great coverage. Who needs an expensive inground system when you can get 2 sprinklers and 2 timers (one for the front and 1 for the backyard) and spend less than $100 for the system.

Just bought a compact gear drive today, using it now. It definitely goes out 40 feet (80 feet diameter) and it was spraying so far, I was afraid the ground closer to the sprinkler wasn't getting any, but it's making it damp, so it must be misting the closer areas. I would definitely get one. May get 3 more and daisy chain the hoses. They aren't expensive.

The H2O6 is by far, the best invention to hit the market, HOWEVER - they have a life expectancy of only 1000 hours if that.I have a pool business background, where I dealt with water products for decades, and can see this design wears down at the turn shaft, until it no longer makes contact with the drive gear. An inexpensive ball bearing support ring near the gear drive ring could extend the life of this product greatly. - For anyone else reading this, that is mechanically inclined; adding Boss 820 Pool Lube on the gears and shaft when brand new, will buy you some time on this particular product.

I got an h2o6 and paired it with a simple orbit timer. It worked great and dry set me up for a year of easier gardening. After one week of use, the sprinkler will no longer oscillate. It looks like this is a very common problem, after reading more reviews. Unfortunate, because it would have been perfect.

I have two 4 zone Integrated Watering System and 24 H20-Six Gear drive sprinklers, 3 sprinklers on each station of the 4 zone Watering System. They work pretty well except for the durability of the part C of the sprinkler, the "Circle Adjustment". Because of the fragile design, (very close to the ground and very thin plastic ) and the carelessness of the people using the edge trimmer, they got constantly broken. I now have 15 sprinklers with the "Circle Adjustment" ring broken, everything else are fine, just the plastic ring is broken. I am wondering if the broken ring can be replaced w/o replacing the whole sprinkler and I am wondering if I can get some warranty replacement.

I bought a number of H206s . The range is dependent upon water pressure - it can reach 40ft on some settings with sufficient pressure, but when connecting a few in series, the range diminishes. I  guess that's Boyle's Law in action, right?

I bought the Orbit 58573N H2O 6 Gear Drive Sprinkler and it worked for about 10 uses last year. Started using it this year and it no longer rotates. Not Happy!!

My orbit h20 6 will not rotate after a couple weeks of use, direction tabs may have been crossed but not sure. How can I fix this, instead of returning it? Please help

Not enough info, can’t get settings to spray. It acts like hose & water only at the end of the water flow. Thinking of returning the sprinkler.

would of been nice to show how to get it to spin 360 degrees, i have no idea how to make it go around the whole yard

So unhappy. I purchased the compact gear drive and have been unable to figure out how to adjust the spray pattern. No instructions came with the product and none are available on line. Trying to get a 90 degree spray angle.
