By the street is called an easement, between the sidewalk and the street, this land is owned by the government similarly to the roads. A 20ft by 15ft cement pad depending on thickness and reinforcement, would cost yourself roughly 800-2, 000 max.

The car's 8 feet wide, but I want 4 additional feet on both sides. And, 6 feet past the corner of the house for my garbage cans. $4500? Sold. When can you start?

For that price, I’m just putting down bricks and parking on the grass 😂

Anything at 6 inches and below i would look to getting a permit. Better have a top notch person running the digging or you run the risk of the municipality coming at you. You also don't have the easement setbacks shown. Most municipalities here in Indiana want you to apply for a variance to build in easement.

Nobody actually gets permits for things inside of their house if it's not a roof structural or electrical. Look up the Painesville city ordinances and bylaws and they want you to buy a permit to rip up your old carpet and replace your flooring. Kitchen counters they want you to do a permit. You want to put gutters on your garage they want to permit for that too. Absolutely ridiculous it's like you have to ask the government to make your property livable.😂 nope we're just putting a new carpet. Suck your $45 fee
