OH, I think LOVE is keeping Poe youthful and happy !! She is SPECIAL and being with you is a gift, you know her worth, you give her such a full life and it shows. Her genetics must be incredible ! Mom n dad had a German Pointer that lived to be 23 and enjoyed every minute of it... He truly was the most intelligent dog I've ever known.

I've had a Chinese Crested Powderpuff/Chihuahua mix since he was just a baby... He's now 17.
You'd think he wasn't more than 6 or so years old...

I wonder if treating them like actually family members has anything to do with longevity?
