GIANT Vintage Japanese Kimono Try On Haul! 😍💕👘 My Collection's Growing!

The long awaited eBay kimono haul is finally here! 🎉
With secret projects, the March Disneybound Challenge, and applying to an international school, this video took so long for me to finish editing 😭😂 Thank you so much for your patience!

I had just discovered kimono auctions on eBay. And I might have gone a little overboard that day...I won auctions for 8 kimono and 2 obi!

If you permit me to add a few things to your cute video: The lining turns out like that because some time in the 50s through the 70s they starched that lining - hence those coppery spots appearing during the ageing process. This also helps to date those kimono better. Also the most formal obi (maru & fukuro) are woven, not embroidered. The kimono look very cute on you! The last pastely one seems to suit your personality the best :)))

Those kimonos look really amazing! I was wondering if you noticed any bad smells from the kimonos. I purchased some from a thrift store in Japan and unfortunately they all smell terribly musty, like attic and mold. I thought it would be better after washing so I handwashed some of the cotton Haori, but it just made the smell so much worse. Did any of your Kimono have that problem as well?
