Snaking is so prominent because there's not any other Advanced movement.

So MW22 does have a crouching cool down the problem is the quick drop shotting pulling back on your left stick then sprinting forward isn't actually crouching your essentially running into standing and that's what needs to be fixed switching from prone to sprint needs the cool down. My only fear is that it'll slow down the game even more if IW tries to fix this I mean they tried to fix the melee tac sprint reset and completely broke it so I think we'll just have to deal with snaking for the rest of this game

Not hard to beat though I found out but it’s up to timing, yours and their. What I do to combat snaking is literally let them break aim assist pre-aim and wait till they actually chall (instead of pump-faking/ snaking). Not really technique just a play style I adapted because I was getting annoyed of snaking & tbf who doesn’t if they play MW2 it’s snake galore in this game.

The problem is now when you snake there is not nametag that appears so you can’t even use that as a visual cue to know when he is up.

Genuinely don’t care/want to hear the pros complain about snaking. They had their chance(s) to blacklist teams/players who started the trend, but they went another route instead & now we are in this spot. Also, pros abuse other broken game mechanics all the time (swiping back & forth for aim assist through buildings, going from wall banging to building banging, and seeing “diamonds” through walls), so players should start be honest with themselves about “competitive integrity” when there is only 48 spots & big $ on the line.

I never considered stair glitching in ranked one bit until I got crimson rank lobby's and people started stair glitching me. Seriously considering flicking on the sound EQ at this point tbh.

Pro's. . . complaining about snaking. Is without question one of the funniest things I've listened to. They promoted it. . . by doing it. . . They brought this issue front and center. And by not just pulling up their panties. . . and going "Hey guys, this is stupid. This is actually comical that we're even doing this. Let's just stop. Accidents happen, but no one accidentally snakes. You might do it once? But twice? And if it's caught and something that can be proven? We should get docked standing points, or have to forfeit a match." Is it extreme? Sure, but by god when fans, announcers, players, and even the people manning the stations while a match is happening. . . are ZOOMING IN on a snake party? There's a problem. No one likes it. . . except for like six players. And we ALL know who they are. I get being a top competitor. . . using everything you can to win. But there reaches a point where rules need to be implemented. And we've hit that point.

This basically comes down to the age-old issue of devs not consulting Pro’s on fixing things like Snaking/Testing Footstep Audio or just giving us a dead silence perk….

They’re trying to act like the NFL, but at the end of the day until we can have a perfect/integrity-intact game there’s no way anyone’s gonna take it seriously as a big nfl-caliber system.
