One month ago I purchased my 3018 PRO CNC at VEVOR. Also made in China, probably from the same factory. At first glance there are some differences. I finished the physical build up of the machine and managed to do the wiring (although the manual wasn't very helpful with the latter) The second part of the manual is Chinese for me. It's about how to get the machine up and running (quite important), so I hope episodes 2, 3 and 4 of your series help me with this.

You're a lifesaver... I was so excited to get my 3018 pro cnc in january 2022, opened the box... and then closed the box. Today I'm giving it another go, but with your video playing in the background. hahahaha

I ordered mine in November 2020. The packaging was different. The collet chuck was already mounted to the motor. (very well, testing with power supply produced zero vibration) No safety glasses, but the controller board had a nice plastic housing with a fan. So far, impressed. On to episode 2!

Taking the day off today, thought it'd be a good idea to review this series from the start and see if I can't figure out how to configure my set up a little better. I really like the way you explain things. I'm hoping I will absorb a bit more this go around, since now I am a bit more familiar with the terminology.

Saw you on Instagram followed the link and here i am. One thing about that machine it wont do any aggressive cutting you need to go VERY slow or the machine will bend mid cut and the piece will be ruined and you might break your bit or damage the motor. Also you cant really control the motor speed. Have fun!

Hi James do all cnc machines come in parts? I noticed Peter Millard also had to build his. 140 sounds good though if it does a decent job.

hi there watching your channel with interest im looking for a low cost cnc machine for cutting wing parts for a rc plane using a mixture of balsa up to 6mm and 3mm liteplywood, in your opinion would the pro3018 be up to the job- speed is not a concern but relative accuracy would be good

Hello James, I’m on the brink of buying a 3018 Pro with a 15W laser but from a firm called HomdMarket. I wasn’t aware that Sainsmart supplied a 15W laser. I’ve checked their website and can’t find one.
I’ve looked at Sainsmart but the reviews are mixed.
