Greatly appreciate the specs on the boats.I worked on the Delta Queen 70 and 71 .Kleinpeter and Margaret O, 81 and 82.The power and majesty of tows on God's rivers can't be compared by any other form of transportation.Each man and woman to work out there knows the feeling. Watching sunrise and sunset in all weather.And the sacred sense of you standing still as the world passes by . Not on rail ocean or rail . Only on Huck Finns river!

That ole girl has been well cared for, looks as good as it probably did the first trip it made. I worked as a deckhand for a short while back in 67-68 on a 3200 HP twin screw. It was a medium sized tow boat at the time as I recall.

As a whole over my life time of watching and working briefly on the inland system, Ingram's fleet is the cleanest I have see. Maybe during the 70's there was a boat I saw regularly that was always clean and the best looking of them all the F.R. Bigglow.
