Survivors push NY lawmakers to pass Adult Survivors Act

In an effort to get the Adult Survivors Act passed, women started putting pressure on lawmakers. The bill, modeled after the Child Victims Act, would allow survivors to sue their alleged abusers after the statute of limitations has passed.

Yes this is an important bill and it needs to pass. Too many women have been sexually assaulted and many are still afraid to tell their story out loud. 🙏🏻
