working in a major city in which the people are generally at or below the poverty line for the area. I started looking into lock-picking as a way to help a person who might be victimized or lose their keys and just needed assistance getting back into their home whereas they couldn't afford to call $100 locksmith because that might be what they make in a week! Because of your channel, I am able to use your help, to help me. to help others, and that is truly appreciated.

I don't know how I ended up in this part of YouTube... I've never seen anything like this at all and I just gotta say that that thing is absolutely amazing! I can't imagine how much practice that takes. Now I'm gonna get stuck here watching a bunch more of these...

thanks again for another great video. I appreciate the time you take to share your Insight Hobby and mechanical information with us. I work in law enforcement and for 21 years I look at different things starting two decades ago with the simple automobile pick, that metal bar, snatch bar, etc to slap hammers, and then migrating to a big jim pick tool. one of my coolest memories seen was that under door pick that slides under and opens the door from the inside. just sharing a quick thank you.

Great pick machine. Learned lock smithing thru a home study course in the Navy over seas in 1977.

I'm a canadian locksmith with more than 30 years experience. Last september, I bought a Kronos directly from Multipick Germany since there was no distributor in Canada. Even though it seemed to be well built, mine quit working within 20 minutes of use. After I contacted Multipick, they told me I had to send it back to Germany to get it fixed. They said they would repay my shipping costs to cover for the trouble. Three months later I finally got it back but never got paid back as promised for my expenses . At last, I was able to try it and evaluate its performance.
I tried it with multiple mortise cylinders, KIKs and padlocks. To me, it compares to my regular pick guns (Ilco and Lockaid). All the locks I picked with the Kronos, I also picked them with my good old pick guns wich by the way, don't require any batteries and perform better in the cold climate. My advice; save your money for something else.

That's it.. I'm just gonna leave my front door open.
Wide open in fact. At least that has a chance of tricking thieves into thinking I'm home.

I'm not into lockpicking at all, but I find this channel interesting nonetheless. Actually, when I moved into my current room there's always been one of these 3 digit locks that no-one knew the combination of. I wanted to use it, so with the techniques from your videos which I somehow remembered I managed to pick it within a minute or two. It's a satisfying feeling, so I understand why you guys do it. Keep on keepin' on!

I'm sure that these days Masterlock gets 90% of their business from pickers.

No joke, this was the very first lockpick I ever had/made. Used a Singer sewing needle hot pressed into the head of a Sonicare electric toothbrush, with a thin screwdriver for a tensioner. Worked frightfully well for the effort required. Awesome to see it done properly!!

I made a home made electric pick out of an oral-b hummingbird flosser. wasn't pretty but it worked.
