I taped a world map from a magazine on my child’s bed wall. Every night before sleep, we would play the “map game.”

As such; I would say “I’m thinking of a country below the equator that starts with the letter J.” Next would be my turn. So fun.

children today have no memory because if they want to know something, they just "google" it. no brain cells stressed! i remember going to my aunt's funeral at 4
years old! i remember getting bitten by a snake when i was about 6. i remember the kids i had class with in first grade. this was in the 1950s. i remember penny
candy! i remember seeing buddy holly on the ed sullivan show. we didn't have cell phones or computers. we learned to do math with pencil and paper and brain.

Forgiveness is not reconciliation. If I've wronged you, I must admit that I did a bad thing that caused you harm in some fashion and ask for forgiveness, you may then grant it. At this point, we may begin to trust each other, again. When we forgive this way, when the memory of the offense returns we chose again to accept the repentance and choose not to return to anger over the offense. Peace is thus mainained between us.
