The evolving situation in Afghanistan after the Taliban takeover has prompted high-level talks between India, US and Russia. Russian NSA Nikolay Patrushev and CIA chief William J Burns met the top Indian leadership to discuss Afghanistan this week. Russian NSA Patrushev met his Indian counterpart Ajit Doval and expressed concerns regarding Afghanistan on September 7.

Is this a joke of the day? There were several multi countries talks over Afghanistan, India was not even invited to join in. Also Taliban government has excluded India in any neighbouring negotiations so far.
