I come from a conservative family..I've remember when i got my periods...my mother started crying...and started treating me like what I've done...she started looking me like...oh now she knows everything...what about her height...her body will start growing like adult...then we've to cover her...n then she started treating me like untouchable n when she told my dad he also started looking me differently...i was already scared n all these changes in my surroundings n specially my body soon made me feel like I've done any sin by getting periods...these things should be changed now... another story...my sister lives in kota hostel where her landlady has a mess in her house...she has told everyone that you've to sit on the ground, you can't touch anything when you're in periods even she has kept different utensils to serve them in periods...when a girl asks for roti then she don't serve or touch she throw that roti in plates...like a dog...this feels like hell...also there are so many things in our society that still exist...we as girls have to go through manh things...and then male from our friends, family, siblings, boyfriend, husband, society says your life is easy...So, please respect every single women even she is a homemaker or nothing...coz you don't know man what exactly she has gone through... and what she is going through....☀️

just a kind suggestion, you can consider using menstrual cups, they are cheaper as compared to pads as you don't have to buy them frequently and they really set you free if you get the knack of using them properly

Government provides pads at a minimal price (rs 10 for 4 pads) at jan aushidhi Kendra...so it's max 30-40 rs for 1 month...

Also even if u buy normal pads of any brand approx 10rs for 1...so 800 rs worth pads can last upto 7-8 months...which is basically 100rs per month...
