It would take Cisco 3 pages to describe this procedure. It worked for me also just to push and hold the button during power-on - until ROMMON prompt is received via serial Console

Thanks for the info. I was doing a build yesterday and my cli timed out part way through when I got distracted. Came in this morning and couldn't log in. Your video did the trick. ;)

genuinely incredible video. just shows exactly what the video says in 30 seconds. coulda used a good thumbs up to the camera at the end, but aside from that excellent work and thanks.

Can confirm this works - Different from the 3650 model where you held in the button until the light turned amber. Also less commands in ROMMON mode on the 9300.

he can't speak so I'll speak for him. He meant to say to reboot the switch while booting press the mode switch constantly and once the LED blinks the switch will be in ROMMON mode.
