league update: we have now updated karthus with nuclear sirens that trigger when an opponent can be killed with your ult. This will not only deafen pings and hearing. But ensure every lane opponent gets to phreak out when they hear the sound.

Honestly at this point remove the comms
Just remove it, and like dont even allow emotes to be seen by the enemies
Also, cover up the name of your teammates and enemies with the Champ's name

"Just typing Karthus ult" Is what we did before we had the new ping system and we collectively agreed that having to open chat for every little interaction was worse than having quick pings for the more common ones. What, am i going to have to "Just type ss" soon too? "Please soraka ult im getting dived?" And dont forget to call out for "baron", "drake" or "Leash blue plz" while you at it. Whats that? You are chat banned and the pings were literally the only way you had to communicate? Damn bro, thats tough, if only we had actual or a competent design team. Truly a shame.
