Look at all that glistening asphalt! The road quality is superb. Great video! Loved the soundtrack as well, Joe Satriani is fantastic driving music.

Fun fact: Thanks to opening of this motorway, it's faster to go from Bratislava, Slovakia to Košice, Slovakia (two biggest cities in the country) via Hungarian motorways than through the Slovak ones lol...

when you go through Hungary, you basically go almost entirely on the motorways, while if you'd travel through Slovakia, our motorways that should connect both cities aren't finished yet, so you need to use lower class roads (and you usually get stuck in traffic jams under the Strečno castle between towns Žilina and Martin)...

I love minimalistic aspects of Hungarian motorways like signage.
I also like smart idea for see-through plastic fence which blocks headlights, but don't totally block the view. Those regular flaps makes your eyes hurt if you concentrate on them.
Only downside are gravel shoulders in some more minor motorways.

Very good new motorway in Hungary, drove a few times on the national road there before it was built, hope to drive there during the next year and try the M30. Thanks for the video, greetings from a fellow roadtripper from Germany!

I guess if S19 goes finished in Poland, this may become main road from the Baltics to Hungary (like Budapest), Romania, Bulgaria.
It will avoid largest Polish cities where queues may occur.

Er zijn meer heuvelgebieden in Hongarije waar snelwegen door heen gaan, Chris!

Are you aware that exit number should be exit 75 not exit 74 at 2:26?

A lovely Hungarian debut! How did you feel driving through a country that barely any words are familiar to European languages? And what do you think of the petrol prices there? :D

Which font did you use for the Hungarian road signs?

I don't know why, but for some reason I love motorways in eastern European countries, or post-communist countries. Could be because most of them are newly constructed, no idea.
