This is a brief overview of five early hominids: Australopithecus Afarensis, Homo Habilis, Homo Erectus, Homo Neanderthalensis, and Homo Sapiens. We examine their capabilities that enabled them to live longer than the hominids that came before them.

Disclaimer:
As much as I desire to share as much as I can about the topics in the forthcoming episode, I understand that I have five minutes or less to expose information. There will be info skipped, glossed over or missed. These episodes are supposed to be a starting point for learning about the topics, not an ending point.
Enjoy the episode.

Being omnivorous plus learning to cook shrunk our jaws allowing our brains to grow larger. Even wisdom teeth are disappearing (or sometimes doubling up). Pretty neat.

Something tells me that there might have been another hominid species between A. Afarensis and H. Habilis

Homo sapiens sapiens (HSS) 3:44 "the earliest members of our own group of humans" and "lived, ....until 12, 00 bce". So what has been the description of our species since 12, 000 BCE, is it not still the same, are we not still HSS? If not, when did it change?

Homo habilis is also called Australiopithecus habits.
Neanderthal race never truly died out either, and had religion and art, hence why some scientists call them Homo sapiens.

According to the original investigation into lucy from Oxford. Say that lucy facial features resembled a prehistoric ape. The bones appeared to be from 3 species of ape. It's knee joint was found 3 km away under 200 feet of dirt.

Why have humans evolved so much in the past 2-3 million years whilst other animals don’t seem to have changed much.
