Love all these! I have found when putting 2 pieces of wood together, if you rip 1/4 inch off of one side on each picket piece, add wood glue, clamp them together and let them dry. Then add the wood filler you'll pretty much get a seamless piece.

love these! I got into wood working this spring and have made everything from horse grooming totes to live edge coat racks and crafty things like these and love it. Gluing fence pickets together is tough but you need to square up the sides on a table saw with either a long level or make a jig to even give them a chance to stay together. I personally like the 2 board/rustic look, thanks for the ideas.

I always love all of your amazing projects!! For wood filler, try using a DIY, using the sawdust from the project, so its the same wood. I keep mine in a mason jar, and then mix in wood glue and there you go, better wood filler (instead of the plastic stuff).
