wow!  He's sings it just as good or better than the album recording.  No autotune or other studio garbage effects that we hear today; pure vocal talent!

It took me growing up to realize what a brilliant song this is. It's beautiful and well constructed, a timeless masterpiece.

Without doubt a master craftsmen at the very peak of his powers. The songs he and Bernie crafted in this period between 1970 and 1973 are unrivalled, no doubt in my mind.

Among the best live performers there ever has been. It's a very short list of people who are in this league. .... Thank you, sir, for all the thrills.

Now this is pure talent. Today's "artists" take note.

Listen to the chord at 2:32 ...same as in "Someone Saved my Life Tonight".  Early Elton would always pay the 3rd bass of the chord... it was really cool and distinct... totally Elton.

The best ever. A man and a piano. That’s all. Brilliant.

some of the best footage comes from the reflection in his glasses; gives you a perspective of his view over the ebony and ivory!

It just goes to show you that EJ's and piano carried the whole song . . . all the other instruments were just the sprinkles and cherry on what was already a beautiful song.
