GTA 5: Top 10 BEST Drift Cars! (2023)

After hundreds of hours of testing, here's my definitive list of GTA 5's top 10 best drift cars in 2023!

You'll probably notice that some of the cars covered in this video can no longer be purchased; this is because, in their never-ending quest for money, Rockstar has removed them from the in-game websites in an attempt to sell them back to players through Shark Cards or GTA+ subscriptions. Really sucks that it's on us content creators to deal with Rockstar's crappy decisions.

TLDR; Rockstar got greedy and removed the ability to purchase the Albany Alpha, Dewbauchee Massacro & Massacro Racecar, and the Dewbauchee Rapid GT & Rapid GT Cabrio. The Karin Futo was removed as well, but luckily this car can still be stolen off of the street.

Methods to get a hold of these non-purchasable cars include:
- Buying it off of a friend through the LS Car Meet (next-gen only)
- Buying it from the LS Car Meet test drive (all platforms)
- Winning it off of the casino podium (all platforms)
- Finishing the prize ride challenges (all platforms)
- Purchasing an auto shop customer car (all platforms)
- Simeon's & Luxury Autos car dealerships (all platforms)
- Vinewood Car Club (next-gen only) - this requires a GTA+ subscription, which you should **not buy** in my opinion.

The rest of the cars mentioned in the video can be purchased from the websites like normal (thank god). Hope this helps y'all.

The Ocelot Virtue is surprisingly really good at drifting. It E-brake drifts like a dream and has insane acceleration.

My list of the slow and fast drifting cars:
Slow - redwood gauntlet, futo, futo gtx, remus
Fast - banshee900, rapid gt, dinka rt3000
(Did not include albany alpha, dewbauchee massacro bc rockstar) list is from my experience and what i want from gta drifting.

W list. I only recently tried out the Alpha and brother it's exactly what I was looking for in a drift car. I haven't tried the Massacro yet, prolly gonna do that soon

The Sultan - can be gotten for free at Benny's Workshop whatever it's called, no modification at benny but here is what you do so you set for drifting:

Low-Grip tyres: yes
Spoiler: Low (First Option after default none spoiler) Suggested (yes, better drifts)
Suspension: Max Low Level 3-4
Brakes Level: Default Stock
Engine: Max Level 4 (suggested, slow is not as bad but it is reccomended for high speeds)
Transition: Max Level 4
Turbo-tuning: Yes

And you are ready to go. Can barely spin out, needs a bit powerful turns (You will get experience and see what I mean), having the brake pressed keeping it more controlled, having longer drift, Has good control depending how you use it. Like if you agree on this car. Thank you

The beater dukes with drift tires drifts pretty good, was trying to make a general build and was experimenting lol

I’m not really In the gta drifting community but I haven’t spotted any comments about the warrener HKR I know it’s a truck. But it’s the only car I’ve tried to drift In this game that just felt right lol

The other improvements such as the neon skirts, tire smoke... They affect the handling of the car and weights
