In Texas in 2022 from April to August we have been in the miserable and in triple digits daily like, 111 was our highest. Now in mid August just coming down into the mid 90s.
We are looking for a cooler state. What you are describing is close to heaven. Not as bad as Alaska and way cooler than Texas.

Tornados in the Indianapolis area do happen but are not common I have lived in Indy for 58 years and never seen a Tornado. Different parts of the country have their own issues. The southeast and Gulf coast have the hurricanes. California and the west have fires and occasional earthquakes and droughts The Northeast has lots of snow and blizzards in the winter much more than Indianapolis Compared to other parts of the country weather in Indianapolis is pretty moderate. Winters are cold but not usually bitter Winter temperatures can vary widely. I have seen some February and March days have 70 degree weather. Usually, winter is gray and cool with temperatures in the upper 30's-40's with a few times a year it does get into the single digits and we have a couple of snowstorms but rarely blizzards or snowfalls of over a foot Fall and spring are nice but Paige is correct Indy has 4 definite seasons

i live in indianapolis and i'm COMPLETELY fine with having all four seasons because i did do and will stick with my really really STRONG interests/hobbies
