Please don’t bring your phone or any loose articles on the ride. I understand you want to record but those rules are there for a reason. It doesn’t take much for you to drop your phone and lose it. But more importantly, a phone falling at that height at a fast speed hitting someone can really injure them. There have been actually been lots or incidents like that before.

Ngl that’s kinda dangerous. Leviathan passes over multiple pathways and a camera heading at 75 mph hitting someone in the head can seriously injure them.

If you want to record on rides you can get permission from the park and you need to ask the park if you can film and you need to tell them what system and attachments you’re using

They have those rules for a reason, you’d be surprised how many people go injured by phones and cameras hitting them in the face on roller coasters

You could have used a secure go pro and asked the park. Most parks in the US allow secure go pros and canadas wonderland is from a US based company.

Last thing you should do before leaving Canada is go to a provincial park, I recommend Arrowhead. Beautiful views and a spectacular visit while your there

For next coaster vids please just use a chest or wrist mount. Most parks let you on coasters with those. Flying phones and camera's have struck people in the head before. You don't want to be the person to turn another queue line into steel vengeance's queue with metal detectors and paid lockers. 😅 It's happened too often

Taking a camera of any sort on a ride is a huge safety hazard, not just for yourself, but for the other passengers, as it could fly backward and hit someone.
If you wanna record on-ride footage, A GoPro would be a much more safe option, but make sure to get permission from the park first.
