i feel like this remix kind of draws out what i like about hi high, even though it’s a different genre. i feel like hi high sounds so dreamy with its synths and so overactive with its tempo, and this remix just pushes it into the territory of like disoriented and manic. i feel like the added drums also are added with real thought to the pacing of the song and what makes it work. it pulls at my heartstrings just in the same way as the original, like it’s sick from sweetness. i’m really glad this remix exists, because hi high is more than just a typical girl group happy song. it’s spacey and active and out of this world, and this remix turns it up past the maximum. 🤍🤍🤍

I first found your stuff back when Mr. Kill Myself was recommended to a bunch of people last year and I was in awe of how unique and creative your music was. I quickly fell in love with your content as you became one of my favorite musicians, and as I saw you grow, I noticed just how many people were writing their troubles in your comment section, and that, along with a few life changing decisions I can't say I know for sure were the correct ones, made me reflect a lot on my life. Specifically, on how I treat those around me. And I realized that I'm a pretty awful person. I've mistreated those who cherish me, I've abused and manipulated those who call me "friend", I've continuously disappointed my parents despite them being my staunchest supporters, and I've even used a girl's affection for me against her. And as I read the comments of people who live troubled lives and have to hang on to any glimmer of hope, people who suffer from several different illnesses, both physical and mental, people who've almost attempted suicide or did go through with it and survived, it enlightened me to just how much of a conceited, egotistical fuck I was. I realize that I could've been the change someone was looking for, that I could've been the friend someone needed. I am now preparing to move overseas to live with an estranged family member, in a place where no one knows who I am or what I've done, and I believe that this is the change I need to do better. To *be* better.
