If I gave my kids my house to use indefinitely, and upon my return I found out they'd completely trashed the place making it uninhabitable, I'd be SERIOUSLY PISSED!

This has got to be literally one of the most dangerous of all religious delusions ever uttered

These people are basically babies who are so afraid of life that they refuse to grow up and give up their childhood fantasies of skydaddy looking after them. I would feel bad for them if their childish coping mechanism wouldn‘t cause so much collateral damage.

As the prophet Jean Luc Picard said, "He just kept talking in one long incredibly unbroken sentence moving from topic to topic so that no-one had a chance to interrupt; it was really quite hypnotic."

The supposed coming has been ongoing comment for hundreds of years. Live in the now and be good shepherds to what you have, not abusive relationships to planet, self, or others.

Psalm 24:1 says the earth is the Lord's and all its fullness, and Revelation 11:18 says that God will destroy those who destroy the earth.

Harry Potter sacrificed his life for his friends, and then came back to life... should I become a "Potterist" ?

I once knew a pastor who refused to sent his son and daughter to high school because he was sure the rapture was going to happen soon, so why bother? Same logic with this guy.

I feel like this guy has debates where he says to his opponent: 'just let me finish my sentance' and pulls this

We don't need to wash the dishes because mom will come do them eventually. Just keep piling it up. I'm sure she'll come do them before we run out of sink and countertop space.

" real peace, real joy and everything that MEN want " not mankind, MEN. This just proves what I have always said " their bible was written by men, for men "

I love it! The Bible is the infallible word of God and you must follow it. Well, except that stuff I don't like.

They have claimed God will fix everything for over 2000 years and we are still waiting and we will be for another 2000 years.

"It is a disposable planet". Wow.
The scariest thing about this apocalyptic belief-system is that it can so easily become a self-fulfilling prophesy.

So the guy who can't prevent believers from catching COVID in church or cure so many once they get it and end up in the ICU (if there is space) will heal a very sick earth. How much do we need to send him for this to happen?

If God created everything, then it would stand to reason that God created science. If they would at minimum get on board with that concept, maybe just maybe, we could move forward for a positive future.
