Dude! My favorite car I ever owned was a 911S Targa in Royal Blue. Looks just like yours, but with the Silver Targa bar across the top and Silver 5 point alloy wheels. Bought it from my wife's millionaire boss who used it a few times a year when he was in Hawaii. Left it parked in the basement garage of his million dollar Diamond Head beachfront condo. Yeah, dream life that guy lived. I got it for $10k when it had 10k original miles in 1984. All the issues with that 2.7 engine had been upgraded so it ran well and I drove the shit out of it for 6 years until I had to sell it when I remarried and had too many kids to haul around. I still dream about that car and I look forward to your build. Imua!

Totally cool Mike. Had not idea you were a Rally fan. When I went to school in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan my cousin and I volunteered as time keepers at some of the the remote stages of the POR rally held up in Houghton in 1983 and 1984, those were some good times. Back then the Audi Quattro was the dominant machine on the circuit👍. Enjoyed your presentation in Phoenix and would like to get in touch with your mobility guy who had the badass Gladiator as I am in Phoenix area as well, previously Prescott, still have family up there. Air cooled 911 best therapy there is!
Watch out for head stud issues with the 3.0 engine.
Don't wait for all those accessories, go drive the snot out of it!
Just completed engine rebuild on my 87' Carrera 200k miles daily driver for twenty years.
Gen 1 Glock 19 with 2 mags still sits in map pocket ;)

You found my favorite addiction... speed.... and a way to mix it with tactics.... lets make sure there is a chainsaw involved somewhere also. Glad you're starting with suspension! Porsche is definitely one of the most reliable platforms of any manufacturer. Most people don't know what they are paying for when they buy a porsche. Let's see what you can do with it!
